Feature Technical Specification
LSR7 uses only 50% water mixed with 50% Isopropyl (70% solution) alcohol for all electronic devices. This is mixed in a spray bottle and sprayed onto an antistatic cleaning cloth. Then the device is wiped down with the cloth.
Please note that only certain products can be used to clean the Chromebooks and teacher laptops.

If marks remain after basic cleaning:
Do not use any of the following chemicals or any solutions that contain them: acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene, ethyl acid, ammonia, or methyl chloride. Never spray anything directly onto device.
If you have a different chemical or solution and are not sure whether it is suitable, do not use it. Using any of the chemicals in the previous list may cause permanent damage to the LCD screen. Some commercial window cleaners contain ammonia and are, therefore, unacceptable.
The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District uses an internet filter called Securly to help keep students safe while using their school-issued Chromebooks. After listening to parent and community feedback on students’ technology use, we are pleased to announce that parents and guardians will now have access to Securly Home, a feature allowing visibility and control of their child’s internet access at home while on the district-issued Chromebook. Securly Home is now part of the software solution the district is currently subscribing to on an annual basis.
