There are several options available to families that need assistance getting internet access for their home. Though the District has options to provide hotspots to families without internet connectivity, these have limitations in speed and data plan capacity which make these resources less ideal for online learning than service brought by wired line through an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to the home.
Below are resources for families to consider for getting reduced cost internet brought into their homes. If you need further assistance or have further questions, please reach out to your student’s administrator.
Several service providers that cover our community have options available including AT&T, Google, and Spectrum.
To determine which reduced-price Internet offers are available in your area, visit EveryoneOn.org/lsr7. You will be asked to provide your zip code and to answer questions related to family income levels, such as eligibility for the free/reduced school lunch program.
Families will work directly with the service provider to verify eligibility and establish access.
Comcast does cover parts of our community but does not always come up with EveryoneOn since it is by zip code. More information is available at internetessentials.com. Service availability for an address can be confirmed by selecting “Apply Now” and providing the address.

Many of these are still accessible from the parking lot during COVID closures.
